New PDDM presence in Pangasinan: Ocular Visit

The invitation from Archbishop Socrates Villegas to start a PDDM community in the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan came to us towards the end of last year 2011. After constant communication and process of discernment, the Provincial government requested authorization from the Superior General and Council.
Upon receipt of authorization, Sr. M. Gemma Victorino, Provincial Superior, together with the two "missionaries" - Sr. M. Kristine Legaspi and Sr. M. Cecilia Payawal - accompanied also by Sr. M. Bernadette Martinez and Sr. M. Gabriella Pablico, made an ocular visit to the College Seminary and the Lay Formation Center of the Archdiocese. Archbishop Villegas and Fr. Mario Dominic Sanchez, the Seminary Rector and Director of the Lay Formation Center were at hand to welcome the sisters and express what kind of ministry they would like the sisters to be involved in.
Hence in this first phase of the new foundation, the two sisters will be giving their contribution in the liturgical formation of the laity, as well as in the psycho-spiritual formation of the seminarians.
