The Celebration of 25 years of Consecrated Life
Tuesday, 6th of July 2010, memorial of St. Maria Goretti, Sr. M. Bernadette Alofa celebrated the silver jubilee of her consecrated life. Our sisters in the Philippine-Taiwan-Hong Kong Province were one with Sr. M. Bernadette in thanking the Lord for the 25 years of loving and faithful service to God and His people.
The members of the Provincial Government and some sisters from other communities joined Sr. M. Bernadette in celebrating the Eucharist at 6:15 in the morning in the chapel of PAC-Manila. Fr. Nestor Candado, SSP came all his way from Australia to preside in the Eucharistic Celebration. The celebration was simple yet solemn and joyful.
We continued our joy of celebrating by feasting on the table made more bounteous by the hospitality of our sisters in PAC-Manila and those generous persons who made the day more festive and joyful.Indeed the silver jubilee of Sr. M. Bernadette was a community celebration that gathered us together to be with her in spirit of fraternal communion and solidarity with one another.
